1 – Sleep Deprivation

Energy is something the body can’t live without. But if you are not able to get enough sleep, say at least seven hours a day, you deprive your body of rest; rest that is essential for keeping your energy levels high in the morning. If the body fails to rest, your brain translates this by way of instructing it to be idle. And when you skip on exercise and the daily activities that make you burn fat, you end up gaining weight.

2 – Digestive System Problems

The digestive system in the body is one of the most overworked. If it happens that something is wrong with the system, you could end up seeing your fitness goals hindered. Keep in mind that all thee food you eat goes through a process of digestion before your body gets to benefit from them. So, if you have a certain type of digestive system issue like irritable bowel syndrome, your body will be confused and might no longer be able to correctly process the food you’re eating, most especially harness the nutrients in them. For this condition, you could be converting your food into waste and the nutrients in them will no longer be absorbed. Consequently, the lack of nutrients in the body will cause you to lose weight. 3 – You Have Flat Feet

As much as you hate to believe it, but having flat feet could actually deter or slow down your progress when it comes to fitness. You go ahead and ask a physical therapist and you’ll get the same thought. What really happens is that with flat feet, the arches in your own feet are depressed and in the process, it will affect both knee and ankle alignment. Therefore, if alignment in your knees and ankles are affected, you’re likely to suffer from pain in them, which in turn means you will have some difficulty performing physical activities like exercises and workouts.
